Jinhua Laiyiyuan Environmental Protection Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established in 2003. It is the only comprehensive solid waste disposal enterprise in Jinhua that holds professional qualifications for handling medical waste, industrial hazardous waste, and dead and diseased animals. The company mainly undertakes services including the collection, transportation, temporary storage, and disposal of medical waste generated by medical institutions in the nine counties (cities, districts) of the city, industrial hazardous waste produced by manufacturing enterprises, experimental organic chemical waste liquids from laboratories of scientific research institutions, colleges, universities, and hospitals, destruction of confiscated items seized by administrative departments, as well as dead livestock and poultry within the jurisdiction of Jinhua municipal level. In 2021, it was recognized as a "National High-Tech Enterprise", and in 2022, it was identified as a "Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise". It is also a Graduate Education Practice Base of Zhejiang University.
